Introducing the Banjo Ukulele Society Team: Your B.U.S. conductors!

I have been playing the banjo ukulele for only 5 years but I have been around the instrument all my life. Between family, friends and work, the banjo ukulele has never been far away.

Through the banjo uke I have been presented with fabulous opportunities, made amazing memories along the way, and made some wonderful friends who have become like family.

I have been playing the banjo ukulele for over 35 years. I originally wanted to learn to play the guitar only my hands were too small to get around the guitar neck as I was only a young lad.

I have been blessed to turn my love for the banjo uke into a professional career - playing, teaching, repairing, restoring and selling.

Along my journey I have met some truly amazing people who have become great friends

I am relatively new to the banjo ukulele, having taken it up in the lockdown.

My previous musical experiences has revolved around playing classical piano and a community choir singing background.

I look forward to helping promote banjo uke playing further & have in the lockdown established a virtual network of players across the globe.

I play the bass but started also playing the banjo ukulele about 8 years ago.

I enjoy making and restoring instruments.

I ‘LOVE’ the sound of a banjo uke at full throttle!

I have been playing the banjo ukulele on and off for approximately 30 years but I started off playing the guitar as a child.

I have always loved the banjo uke right from being a youngster.

In the last 6 years I have played my banjo uke more than ever including having the opportunity of playing at live gigs.

I have met with wonderful people along the way, people that I now consider to be best friends and family to me.
