The pegs are original (now rare) top of the range 5 star planetary geared pegs with mother of pearl buttons.

The banjo ukulele was fully refurbished in April 2021 by Alan Yates of Alan Yates Music to the original condition of factory finish.

The restoration work involved included a new ebony fingerboard, frets and mother of pearl inlays, new ebony headstock veneer and logo, new ebony heel cap. All Pegs refurbished and one peg button repaired with genuine mother of pearl. Metal work cleaned and polished. Fully lacquered, new deluxe vellum, new strings, and bridge fitted, with professional set-up.

At the time of leaving Alan Yates Music, the instrument was valued between £2000 and £2200.
